The purpose of this association is to celebrate and share information about the history of the woman suffrage movement, especially on Long Island. 2017 will mark one hundred years since New York women won the vote, and we are actively planning celebrations of this important centennial, as well planning to join the national celebration in 2020 of the passage of the 19th Amendment.
